Descripción

El Titán del Bosque es una de las criaturas incluidas en ARK: Survival Evolved y uno de los cuatro Titanes de la expansión "Extinction". Podrás encontrarlo en la Cueva del Bosque, al norte del mapa. El jefe es una criatura que puede domesticarse temporalmente.

Aspecto

El Titán del Bosque mide aproximadamente unos 216 pies de alto. Para tener una idea sobre la escala de esta criatura, el Godzilla original de 1954 medía 164 pies (50 metros), lo que hace que este titán sea unos 65 metros más alto. Algunas partes de su cuerpo brillan por el Elemento del que están compuestas. Parece que también tiene Elemento alrededor de sus ramas entretejidas y nudosas, que tienen el tamaño de troncos de secuoya. Si usas el Mek, de unos 60-65 pies de altura, el Titán del Bosque mide unos 4 Mek's de altura.

Aumento de estadísticas al subir nivel en estado salvaje

Escribe los valores de la criatura salvaje para revisar en que estadísticas sobresale más. Los valores marcados con verde en una criatura de alto nivel son muy buenos para la crianza/reproducción. Si ya has domesticado una criatura, puedes intentar recuperar la información que tenía cuando era salvaje con la siguiente herramienta: ARK Stats Extractor.

Titán del Bosque

Nota: después de que la criatura sea domesticada, conseguirá algunas bonificaciones a sus estadísticas dependiendo de la efectividad del domesticado. Esto dificulta el obtener los niveles precisos de una criatura domesticada, por lo que esta calculadora te ayudará mucho, ya que está pensada para dinosaurios salvajes únicamente. Con ella, podrás tener una idea sobre la distribución de las estadísticas de una criatura.

Combate

Esta sección te explica cómo combatir contra el Titán del Bosque.

General

Aunque es el menos ágil de todos los titanes, lo compensa con varias habilidades que también te impedirán a ti que te muevas rápidamente al enfentarte a él, como por ejemplo unas raíces que atraparán tanto a dinosaurios como a jugadores, o los tentáculos vegetales que atraparán a estos y los arrastrarán hacia él, o sus árboles venenosos que limitan el campo de batalla y te impiden encontrar zonas seguras con facilidad. Recuerda todo esto cuando te enfrentes a él.

Estrategia

Matar al Titán del Bosque es más fácil decirlo que hacerlo, pero con las herramientas adecuadas puedes hacer esta lucha mucho más fácil. El Titán del Bosque engendrará varios Guiverno|Guivernos, sobre los que podrás montar para quemar los árboles y al propio titán utilizando ataques con fuego. Por otro lado, recuerda que los Managamr no harán demasiado daño, ya que debido a la distancia su efectividad se verá reducida. Ten esto en cuenta todos estos aspectos al decidir qué usar para luchar contra el Titán del Bosque.

Recommended Tames

NOTE that I used creatures that came from that map the boss was released on to make fair suggestions.

If you feel like adding creatures that's fair enough however don't add any that are exclusive to a Expansion Pack if those creatures aren't on the same corresponding map the boss is on or any free maps released with the base game. (ex. Reaper King on The Island should not be suggested since you have to buy the Aberration Expansion Pack to get them and not everyone will be able to afford that Expansion Pack).

Unique creatures from maps like Ragnarok and Valguero and Expansion creatures that were used on that map (ex. Karkinos used on Valguero) however are exceptions since the players have instant access to them for free.

• Having a Mek will always be effective when fighting any Titans due to their strong stats and damage and their ability to use attachments.
• If playing with multiple players having at least one person control a Scout can also be useful due to their ability to heal Meks.
• As always having a Yutyrannus is always advised due to its courage roar and the fact that since the Titans are world bosses they can use the fear roar to scare away creatures attempting to interrupt the fight.
• Due to the Titans being world bosses Giganotosaurus Rushing can be very effective due to their powerful stats so long as the player keeps their distance.
• Using a Snow Owl can be effective due to their ability to fly and heal ally tames and players.
• Having a couple of Velonasaur can also be useful as a background support creature firing at the Titan.
• While not nearly as effective as the Gigas Rex Rushing can still be used.

Fortalezas

• El Titán del Bosque tiene la durabilidad de su lado, así que prepárate para una pelea larga.

• Por último, el Titán del Bosque puede enviar raíces a través del suelo para inmovilizar a las monturas y supervivientes.

Debilidades

• El Titán del Bosque es muy lento y puede ser vulnerable a progresivas cadenas de ataque contra objetivos distantes. Esto puede permitir mucho daño gratuito o avanzar en la destrucción de la corrupción. La mayoría de sus ataques se telegrafían fácilmente y se pueden esquivar con movimientos rápidos. Con la estrategia y las herramientas adecuadas, el titán se verá indefenso para frustrar sus intentos de matarlo o domesticarlo.

• El Titán del Bosque tiene un punto ciego para los ataques de espada mek cuando ataca justo al lado de su pie derecho. También es arriesgado atacar porque su pie tropieza con un mek, lo que los hace vulnerables a sus pisadas.

Domesticado

El Titán del Bosque puede domesticarse atacando los nodos de corrupción que están en su cuerpo, usando una secuencia determinada. Primero, necesitas destruir los dos nodos de sus hombros. Justo después, aparecerá un nodo en su barbilla. Encárgate de él. Tras destruirlo, el Titán del Bosque caerá y se quedará tendido en el suelo; cuando esto ocurra, colócale una montura especial, la montura con plataforma. Este titán podrá entonces ser controlado desde una cabina especial que está en dicha montura.

It is important to note that the more damage done to the Forest Titan during the taming process will reflect on the amount of damage done by the Forest Titan after it has been tamed. Two ways you can see if you damage the corruption node is either with damage numbers being turned on and seeing "1" damage being dealt or watching the corruption node flare out in response to being damaged. As of current, it is uncertain how much health the corruption node has, but its destruction is based on damage dealt and not the number of hits taken. (Tests showed that with a ~650% damage Fabricated Sniper Rifle it took 316 bullets to break a corruption node. This is equivalent to ~244,000 damage but this isn't factoring in damage reduction that the titan gets for bullets. This was tested in playersonly mode.)

Element Vein Defense: Because of its vine grab dealing 15,000 damage, the Forest Titan can grab creatures that are hiding behind an element node and easily kill them.

Notes/Trivia

• The Forest Titan is the 5th largest creature in the game (the largest being Rey Titán, second being Rockwell, the third being the Gusano de la Muerte Alfa/ Iceworm Queen,and finally the 4th being Titán de Hielo.
• The Forest Titan is taller than the Ice Titan however the Ice Titan is more bulkier and longer making it larger.
• The Forest Titan is the only boss with "Minions" that help the survivors instead of the boss itself.
• When one of the nodes on the shoulders is destroyed, the arm will fall off, but it will regrow after some time. For some reason the game still treats the fallen arms like a part of the Forest Titan's body, so you can still deal damage to the titan through them
• The Dermis of the Forest Titan will appear without arms when displayed in a Taxidermy Base, this is assumed to be a bug.
• The Forest Titan is the only one out of the three tamable Titans to have a death animation, the other Titans just fall to the ground.
• The Forest Titan's internal name, ForestKaiju, is a reference to the Japanese Kaiju film genre.
• Prior to Patch 287.110, Titans were able to be fed with Kibble to prevent them from starving to death.
• The Forest Titan is the only Titan other than the King Titan to have a large role in the explorer notes.
  • After Mei Yin's mek broke down when wandering around Extinction for a while after defending Helena's ascension, the Forest Titan appeared and overwhelmed her until Diana appeared and took it down with ease (temporarily) by using Santiago's mek.
• (On singlerplayer), A tamed Forest Titan’s health will reset to 400k after exiting the world whether it is Alpha, beta or gamma. This should be a bug.
• When taming, the corruption on its body will have a purple hit marker, opposed to a red hit marker when the titan itself is hit. This can he helpful when taming the titan on official, where you cannot have floating damage text.
