The Manticore is a Tribrid that consists of the body and head of a lion, with three rows of sharp teeth, Bat-like wings and ears, and a scorpion's tail that has toxic and lethal venom. While also having horns (2 pointing up and 2 Curled) on the top of its head, a furry body, and sharp claws, and spikes.

Повышения характеристик дикого существа
Введите значения дикого существа, чтобы увидеть, в какую характеристику оно ушло. Зеленые значения на существе высокого уровня очень хороши для выведения. Если вы уже приручили свое существо, вы можете попытаться восстановить статистику с помощью внешнего инструмента.[1]

Обратите внимание, что после приручения существо получает бонусы на некоторые характеристики в зависимости от эффективности приручения. Это затрудняет получение уровней на прирученном существе, поэтому этот инструмент только для диких, но дает первое представление, насколько хорошо распределены характеристики.
Combat
General
The floor of the arena is teeming with Deathworms. The Manticore will primarily fly about the arena shooting purple bolts in different directions at once while using its tail to inflict torpor. Near the end of the battle Rock Elementals start spawning along with Deathworms and can easily trap and kill your creatures.
Strategy
- It is best to not leave the platform so you can avoid the Deathworms.
- Another good strategy is to bring in a few wyverns and a lot of homing rockets. the wyverns will distract the manticore while you get a lock on it and fire.
- Kill the Deathworms in the arena first. Keep to ranged combat to avoid the worst of torpor damage. Try to run away from the Rock Elementals or bring a lot of explosive power.
- Bring at least one friend and a bunch of Rexes. As you spawn into the arena, split them into two groups and walk half of them down one side and the other on the other side. Once the Manticore lands, whistle them all to "attack this target" (default .), and they will bite the Manticore.
- The most recent patches have changed the trapping-exploit kill strategy, as the Manticore can no longer be pinned down and quickly eaten by Rexes. Due to the natural power and hardiness of the Rex, it is still effective at killing the Manticore even without the pin-down exploit
Weaponry
- Contrary to what one might think, Rockets are not a good idea, as they travel slowly and the Manticore is rarely standing still on the ground, making it difficult to hit it with them, use homing rockets and a rocket launcher instead.
- Creatures of up to 550 drag weight can be brought into boss fights. This prohibits all dinosaurs capable of bearing a platform saddle, besides the Quetzal, which is excluded with a separate rule. Also climbing creatures like Thylacoleo are excluded. However, Wyverns are specifically allowed into the Manticore arena.
- An Assault Rifle can inflict decent DPS and is relatively cheap.
Dangers
- The Manticore can inflict large amounts of torpor with its tail, from which it can also shoot spikes like a Thorny Dragon. Be Careful! Torpor gained from these spikes can't be lowered with stimulant like normal torpor inflicting attacks unless it's on a human. Bring Stimulant and water for yourself.
- The Manticore's slam attack can potentially damage a human, even if he/she is on a dino. Care must be taken when its landing.
- The Deathworms in the arena will swarm any player or creature on the ground, which is especially dangerous to those that are unconscious from the Manticore's attacks.
- The Rock Elementals can spring up for damage if a creature or player is close enough and that will trap a creature inside of it and it will be doomed.
- The Deathworms' attacks have a large area of effect that can quickly drain the health of many of your creatures if they are close together
