New Resources
New Features
New Creatures

Valguero features a new Creature, the Deinonychus Deinonychus. The Deinonychus Deinonychus lays its nests throughout the map and stealing one of these Deinonychus Egg (Valguero) Eggs is the only way to tame a Deinonychus aside from breeding one. They are very strong and hard to kill in packs.

There are also two variations of the Rock Elemental Rock Elemental, the Chalk Golem Chalk Golem (in The White Cliffs) and the Ice Golem Ice Golem (in the Snow Desert). These two variants are identical to the Rock Elemental Rock Elemental in every way except for their appearance.

Notes[]

  • The original map was intended to contain a Rock Drake Rock Drake nest in the depth of the Aberration Biome. The Rock Drake Rock Drake was however removed in the free DLC as mentioned in the recent official livestream with the developers.
  • Beached Ichthyosaurus Ichthyosaurus are harvestable for Organic Polymer Organic Polymer and Hide Hide, as well as dead Carbonemys Carbonemys for Rotten Meat Rotten Meat, Hide Hide, and Keratin Keratin, similar to how beached Basilosaurus Basilosaurus on Ragnarok are harvestable for Oil Oil.
  • Valguero is the first official free DLC to have Aberration content on it without the need to purchase the DLC. However it doesn't include a bio-luminescent region within the Aberration Trench. Also, the entire Aberration area is considered a cave and therefore, flyers cannot be ridden inside and Managarmr's cannot use their dive ability.
  • Valguero has a Wyvern Trench, like that of Scorched Earth and Ragnarok. However, only 2 types of wyvern exist in this trench, that being the Fire Wyvern Fire Wyvern and the Ice Wyvern Ice Wyvern. The ice wyverns live above ground, while the fire wyverns live in the underground section of the trench.
  • Although Griffin Griffins were shown in the trailer for Valguero, they do not spawn on the map.
  • Valguero is unique in having all the ocean creatures but no ocean surrounding the map. Instead, a large lake is present. Valguero is also the first map to have an underground ocean, known as The Abyss, in addition to its lake, where the ceiling is rock, you can't swim to the surface for Oxygen Oxygen, and dangerous creatures like Tusoteuthis Tusoteuthis spawn.
  • Valguero is the first Expansion Map with a roaming Boss, the Broodmother Broodmother.
  • Valguero is the only Expansion map to not have the Artifact of the Devious.
