Battle Tartare is a dish in ARK: Survival Evolved. It can be created at a Cooking Pot or an Industrial Cooker.
Overview
This dish grants you various buffs useful in combat. Consume it to gain an additional +60% increase in melee damage, +50% movement speed, 15% damage resistance, and increased stamina regeneration. Also causes you to consume food and water 50% faster. The effects last for 180 seconds, during which you will lose 0.45 hp per second; for a total loss of 90 hp. The food spoils in 5 hours.
Be sure to include a Waterskin, Water Jar or Canteen with at least 25% water in the Cooking Pot.

Notes
- As of 254.0, creatures can't consume Battle Tartare. Prior to this patch, it could be force fed to creatures to increase Movement Speed and damage Health (rate of 0.45/sec, totaling 90 hp).
- On consumption it will cancel the effect of Enduro Stew and vice versa.
- Before 232.0, Battle Tartare did stack with Enduro Stew and buffed for +150% melee damage.
- A player with 509 health can theoretically cancel out the hp loss of Battle Tartare. The reason being is that 15% damage reduction means enemies need to do 15% more damage in order to kill you. A player with 509 health would normally die instantly if hit by an attack that did 509 damage. The effects of Battle Tartare, however, would reduce that damage to 432.65. An attack with 599 damage (90 more damage 509) would be required to do 509.15 damage to an enemy under the effects of Battle Tartare, instantly killing a player with 509 health. Following the same math/logic: a player with 510 or more health will theoretically gain health while under the effects of Battle Tartare.
