Color Scheme and Regions[edit | edit source]
This section displays the Brute Ferox's natural colors and regions. For demonstration, the regions below are colored red over an albino Brute Ferox. The colored squares shown underneath each region's description are the colors that the Brute Ferox will randomly spawn with to provide an overall range of its natural color scheme. Hover your cursor over a color to display its name and ID.
This information can be used to alter the Brute Ferox's regions by entering cheat SetTargetDinoColor <ColorRegion> <ColorID>
in the cheat console. For instance, cheat SetTargetDinoColor 0 6

Wild Stats Level-up
Type in values of a wild creature to see on which stats it's emphasized. Green values on a high-level creature are very good for breeding. If you have already tamed your creature you can try to recover the breeding-stats with an external tool.[1]
The stat-calculator does not work in the mobile-view, see here for alternatives: Apps
Note that after the creature is tamed it gets bonuses on some stats depending on the taming effectiveness. This makes it hard to retrieve the levels on a tamed creature, so this tool is only for wild ones, but gives a first impression, how well the stats are distributed.
Combat[edit | edit source]
This section describes how to fight against the Brute Ferox.
General[edit | edit source]
The Brute Ferox attacks very quickly and does lots of damage making it a very formidable opponent. Additionally, it has the ability to knock you off of your mount, which can be especially dangerous on Beta or Alpha difficulties!
Strategy[edit | edit source]
A pack of attacking dinosaurs is recommended, as it can knock you off of your mount. Sending said pack to slay the Brute Ferox while you stand in a corner is advised. At the final stage of "Hyde and Seek" you'll need to defeat a pack of direwolves and x-sabertooth, which can be easy to kill as they have relatively low health, but be wary of the wolve's pack and howling bonuses!
Weaponry[edit | edit source]
Similar to a normal Ferox, a Brute Ferox can be shot down with ranged weapons and a rock elemental is suggested as when dismounted you stand on top of it out reach of the brute ferox as the elemental is very tall.
Dangers[edit | edit source]
the ability to dismount makes this dangerous, combined with high damage and health it can obliterate most players
the wolves ability to howl at the end of the mission makes it difficult
Weakness[edit | edit source]
the brute ferox has relatively low health for a brute so killing it is'nt too hard.
also at the end the sabertooth can be killed one by one and the ferox can be killed without the pack attacking. but the direwolves will converge.

Notes/Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Mission its in is a reference to the characters Jekyll and Hyde of which share similarities to the Ferox.
- the Brute Ferox sometimes will aggro on a wild creature rather than the player.
