Cosmetics are various purchasable/craftable items added in Mobile 1.0.86 and Mobile 1.0.88 used as decoration for a base. There are three types of Cosmetics:
- Free Engrams, which have an Ancient Amber requirement to craft, and any items used to craft it will not be recovered when it has been destroyed.
- Paid Engrams, which do not have an Ancient Amber requirement to craft, and any items used to craft it will not be recovered when it has been destroyed.
- Purchasable Items, which are bought with Ancient Amber, and any items used to craft it will be returned to your inventory when it has been destroyed.
Types of Cosmetics[]
Furnishings[]
Clocks[]
Clocks are Purchasable Items. They can be used as an Alarm Clock when Sleeping and can display either the ARK time or the local real-world time. There are currently two Clocks, the Analog Clock and the Digital Clock.
Simple Curtains[]
Simple Curtains are Purchasable Items that come in packs of four. They can be placed on any windows, set to open or closed, and can be colored with any Dye.
Elegant Furniture[]
The Elegant Lamp is a fully functional Purchasable Item. The Elegant Bed, the Elegant Table, the Elegant Bench, and the Elegant Chair are all available as Free Engrams and function the same as their wooden counterparts.
Gear Display[]
The Gear Displays are all Purchasable Items. They can be used to display Armor and Weapons. There are three Displays, the Weapon Mount (Small), the Weapon Mount (Large), and the Armor Stand.
Vases[]
The Vases are available as Free Engrams. They can be used to extend the Spoilage timer of perishables. There are two Vases, the Ceramic Vase and the Glass Vase.
Rugs[]
Creature Skin Rugs[]
The Creature Skin Rugs are Purchasable Items. They can be used for decor and are customizable. Simply insert a tamed creature's Implant into the corresponding Rug, and it will inherit the characteristics and the name from the Implant. There are five Creature Skin Rugs, the Dire Bear Rug, the Dodo Rug, the Gigantopithecus Rug, the Sabertooth Rug, and the Titanoboa Rug.
Decorative Rugs[]
The Decorative Rugs are also Purchasable Items. They can be used for decor. There are four Decorative Rugs, the Large Elegant Rug, the Round Elegant Rug, the Large Woven Rug, and the Round Woven Rug.
Statues[]
Statues are Purchasable Items. They can be used for decoration, as Trophies, or to scare off enemy Tribes. There are six, the Carnotaurus Statue, the Giganotosaurus Statue, the Kairuku Statue, the Pteranodon Statue, the Spinosaur Statue, and the Tusoteuthis Statue.
Garden[]
Water Fountain[]
The Water Fountain is available as a Free Engram. It functions as a Water Reservoir, but instead fills up when it Rains and will slowly lose Water over time.
Planters[]
The Planters are available as Free Engrams. They can take any seed except for Plant Species X Seed. There are four Planters, the Stone Planter, the Stone Pot, the Ceramic Planter, and the Ceramic Pot.
Seeds[]
The Seeds are Purchasable Items. They can be planted in Planters to grow into Flowers. There are five Seeds, the Snake Plant Seeds, the Papaver Seeds, the Aconitum Seeds, the Leucanthemum Seeds, and the Hemerocallis Seeds.
Hedge[]
The Hedges are available as Paid Engrams. They can be used to decorate a garden. There are three, the Box Hedge, the Cone Hedge, and the Round Hedge.
Paver[]
The Gravel Paver is available as a Free Engram with the other Pavers available as Paid Engrams. They can be used to outline walkways throughout a base. There are eight Pavers, the Gravel Paver, the Gravel Half Paver, the Brick Paver, the Brick Half Paver, the Marble Paver, the Marble Half Paver, the Rock Paver, and the Rock Half Paver.
Miscellaneous[]
The Miscellaneous Garden Decorations are available as Paid Engrams. They can be used to decorate a garden. There are five, the Trellis Archway, the Trellis Fence, the Stone Steps, the Crop Bed (Round), and the Crop Bed (Square).
Gnome[]
The Garden Gnome is available as a Purchasable Item and comes in packs of five. It has some sort of mysterious property...[1]
