The Fish Net seems that it will be able to catch fish like Coelacanth in a similar manner to the Fishing Rod, but without needing bait or a place to sit, allowing a survivor to cast out the net and ensnare fish while standing.
Survivors won't be able to move while using net.
During the Bog Fishin' mission Fish Net breaks if a Piranha is caught.
Fish Net cannot be used to fish for event items during any of ARK: Love Evolved event on Valentine Coelacanth as it only yields Raw Fish Meat.
