The SS Vivarium is a structure from the Super Structures Mod in ARK: Survival Evolved. It allows to store some creatures and collect their Feces and Eggs.
Overview
It must be powered by a Tek Generator.
Like all the other structures of the mod, it can be unlocked and pin coded.
Usage
Place the creatures you want to store close from the SS Vivarium. By the wheel menu or the central column of the inventory, make them come in or out. No Cryopod is needed. Note that all the items stored in the creatures (such as Saddles) will be lost.
The list of the stored creatures is displayed above the structure.
From the wheel menu or the inventory, you can choose to collect either Poops or Eggs, both, or none.
You can mix several species.
A male from the same specie of the female will increase the probability for the female to lay eggs.
An Oviraptor stored within will decrease the intervall between laying eggs. The gain is although a little lost by the removal of a female to make place to the Oviraptor. If the Oviraptor is a female, it will lay Eggs too. If the Oviraptor is a male, it will produce Poop.
You can place up to 10 creatures within; quantity that must not be confused with the 100 slots of the inventory capacity, in which collected resources will be stored.
Eggs and Poops produced will keep in the inventory and won't be pulled by a SS Item Collector. Resources must be periodicaly manualy pulled, with a SS Tranfer Tool for example.
Notes
- The Maewing will only lay Basic Eggs in the SS Vivarium.
