The Plant Species R Seed is a seed used to grow the  Plant Species R . It is a mutated seed designed by Rockwell. The appearance of a fully grown R species resembles that of a smaller variant of the tentacles he sports. Fully grown Species R can be harvested for various type of meat sources depending on what kind of designated R seed was planted.

Obtaining

The seeds can be obtained from Mutagen Bulbs, along with  Mutagen , but a wave of multiple  Summoner is triggered upon harvesting.

The easiest way tof arm the seeds is to place beds in the tunnel leading to Rockwell's Wobbly bits. Then you can keep checking back for the "Mutagen" Buff in the bottom right of your screen, If it's there- then there are Bulbs active. Simply land next to them and press 'E', Then jet pack away before the Summoner and his friends become too much of a problem.

There are 5 types of R Seeds:

Planting

When placed in a  Tek Crop Plot  with  Fertilizer and Water, the  Plant Species R  will grow.

Notes

Some people have experienced issues when trying to Harvest the Plant Species R.

If playing on Unofficial- This is easily fixed by turning on the server integer "PvPEnableFriendlyFire=True".

Despite being on a PvE server, once this option was turned on my Tribe was able to harvest the seeds without issue. Please note that enabling this option on your server DOES NOT activate PvP, Nor does it require PvP to be activated on the server to achieve the goal of making Plant Species R harvest-able. I know I would have liked someone to tell me this sooner, So I hope this helps someone! <3
