The Portable Rope Ladder is a tool in the Aberration DLC and can be used to climb to higher areas. It is similar to the Rope Ladder, however, it is placed and used in a different way.
Usage
Unlike Wooden Ladders or Rope Ladders, Portable Rope Ladders are not placed in chunks which can be connected. Instead, this ladder has to be placed while climbing on a surface via Climbing Picks.
When hanging on a vertical surface, it can be placed left and right of the survivor, below the waist level. Once placed, the ladder will extend downwards and can be used for climbing. The Ladder is not infinitely long, if the placing point is very high, the ladder may not reach the ground and stop in mid-air.
Unlike the normal Rope Ladder, this ladder can not be retracted and extended after placing.
