The Quetzalcoatlus Bone Costume is dropped by Skeletal Quetzals during the ARK: Fear Evolved and ARK: Fear Evolved 2 event or crafted in a Cooking Pot during the ARK: ARKaeology event. It can be applied to a tamed Quetzal to make it look like a skeleton.

This skin can be unlocked by completing the Expert Explorer Achievement, after which it will be available in your inventory whenever you respawn.

Prior to 258.0 and the current Achievements, this item was exclusively obtainable during ARK: Fear Evolved 2 events. It was dropped by Skeletal Quetzal which randomly spawned around The Island. They spawned very rarely, similar to Alpha Predators. Killing and looting one of these creatures would yield a Quetzalcoatlus Bone Costume.
