The Sabertooth Saddle is used to ride a 
Sabertooth after you have tamed it. It can be unlocked at level 37. See more information on saddles at the Saddles page.
Advice[]
If your Sabertooth dies remember that you can salvage the "Sabertooth Saddle" by accessing the Sabertooth's inventory, this is mainly to save resources and time.
