Gathering[]
It can be gathered equally as effective with a Pick or a Stone Hatchet from mining stone. It can also be picked off the ground in a similar manner to Stone, especially using a 
Whip. Additionally, in Crystal Isles, Sand can be harvested from 
Anthills

Notes[]
- During a Sandstorm, Sand is added to the inventory if the player stays outside.
- A
Doedicurus is useful for gathering a lot of Sand. - A Rock Elemental is also good for harvesting sand.
- Sand has a high weight count (full stack = 50 weight) as both sand and stone are gathered from mining rocks on scorched earth it's highly advisable that you level up weight or keep a high capacity dino with you at all times.
