The Sloped Thatch Roof is the most basic roof. A roof provides protection from the elements, giving bonuses to hypo- and hyperthermic insulation.
Construction[]
Unlike the Thatch Roof, the Sloped Thatch Roof is slightly inclined and used in combination with the Sloped Walls.
Once the first Sloped Thatch Roof is placed, subsequent Sloped Thatch Roofs can snap into place along the first one, allowing them to line up, provided that there is adequate room to do so.
A roof requires support from a nearby foundation or pillar in order to be placed.
Notes[]
- It is not possible to place structures on Sloped Roofs, except for Signs and Billboards.
- Thatch structures are weak and provide very little protection against attacks by dinosaurs or other players.
- Uses the same assets as the normal Thatch Roof.
- The Sloped Thatch Roof is treated as a thatch structure and can be damaged by anything except non-explosive ranged attacks.
The Thatch Foundation, Thatch Wall, Thatch Doorframe, Thatch Roof, Sloped Thatch Roof, Sloped Thatch Wall Left, and Sloped Thatch Wall Right, all share the same paint regions.
