Spay is an option on the action-wheel of a tamed dino. Once a female creature is spayed, it can no longer mate and thus is not able to be used in breeding ever again, but they can be cloned through the Tek Cloning Chamber. For male creatures there's the option to neuter them with the same effect, making them unable to be used in breeding ever again.
