+ | :I did a small test concerning the influence of aggro on taming time. Of course this is not very accurate, but here is what I did: |
||
+ | :On a level 84 used invisibility to prevent it from aggroing. Time between possibility of kibble feeding: 3:19 minutes. I then disabled the cheat, same time for the 80(?) food depletion. Then I aggroed it intentionally without hitting back (no hostiles in the vicinity), de-aggroed it on a tree to see if this aggro phase would change anything. Feedable regardless after 3:19 minutes. Also, if people think they can just go to these locations and there will be a Gigantopithecus there, what happens when there isn't? Will they come here to complain? I don't know. Taming Times
Tamed one(lvl 2) it took 20 minutes and feeding timer was 12 second. It took 60 mejoberries — Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.185.157.12 (talk • contribs) at 7:34, 20 August, 2015 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~
Just tamed one (lvl 68, Aug 20, 2015 about 3am Eastern), feeding timer was 15 seconds, I always fed it from behind, while it was walking to help get back out of it's box quicker. Method tested and proved effective on a lvl 116 Gigantopithecus (Julien, lvl 74)
- 4XX Mejoberry without any kibbles.
- 6h - 8h depending on your assiduity and a bit of random.
- 1 minute between each patern of feeding.
- The taming bar go back very very slightly, nearly stagnate, in case of aggro - reset.
Be quick and careful the aggro is quiet tricky.
