TLC Pass 1 pouch info[]

The page has information about what can be stored in the pouch and a note about the bonuses for storing babies. Babies imprinted while in the pouch get an extra imprinting bonus; however, the only two dinos on the list with baby phases longer than 8 hours are the Theri and Paracer. Thought this might be noteworthy information to add to the page. Kuuys (talk) 04:22, 15 March 2018 (UTC)

Procoptodon Spawn Area[]

Now I don't know if it spawns on South Haven/Herbivore Island on PC, but on console it does not spawn. I would fix it but I do not have any experience with the PC version of Ark. Is it a new spawn for PC or just left over from the Winter Wonderland event, if that is the case it needs to be removed or under a title of Winter Wonderland spawn. I haven't personally seen any changes to the South Haven spawns since Trilobite (excluding the Winter Wonderland spawns, which I'm pretty sure didn't include Procop anyways).

Appearance section content revision[]

Is it appropriate for the "Appearance" section of this article to talk entirely about how to find this creature, not it's actual visual appearance? It should definitely be revised to include content that actually fits the purpose of the Appearance section, although I don't trust my writing skill to make a description of the Procoptodon myself otherwise I would. SirNameless (talk) 02:48, 17 February 2016 (UTC)

You're right, that's not the kind of "appearance" that section is supposed to be about. However, it's acceptable to include some spawn information under "behavior", so I'll move it there.

New Topic in Discussion Page[]

Taming a level 1 Procoptodon on single player results in the correct Base Health of 400(+.1) and correct Base Stamina of 350(+.1). This used to be 220 Base Health and 190 Base Stamina, the same as the frog. When Taming a 120 Procoptodon in singleplayer the stats were incorrect for both health and stamina and seemed to be using the previous stats rather than the current. This was fixed by a server reset done in this case by shutting single player down and loading it back up where they would now have the correct stats. This indicates the stats are still a little buggy and may need a server reset to stabilise individual dinosaurs. Anybody else finding finding this issue? — Preceding unsigned comment added by InvertebrateHunter (talkcontribs) at 1:49, 14 April, 2016 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Yes, this issue exists since the release of the alpha. The only way I know how to fix this is a server-restart, to let the game recalculate the stat-values. That issue leads to some confusion if base-stats of creatures are changed, so far I experienced this with the scorpion and procoptodon. The problem is, the increase per level stays, but the base-value is changed.--Cadaeib (talk) 09:30, 14 April 2016 (UTC)

Secondary Attack[]

Does anybody knows how to kick something with it yet??? R.T Robongio (talk) 11:59, 23 July 2016 (UTC)

The Procoptodon (currently) has only one attack. Flachdachs (talk) 16:32, 23 July 2016 (UTC)

List of animals that can be pouched[]

The list incorrectly shows that procoptodons can pick up every shoulder-mounted animal as an adult. That isn't true - they can't pick up vultures or dimorphodons, and by that logic probably a few others I haven't tested.
