If you're playing on single player and are having trouble placing a transponder node on a critter, try using the ghost command to get closer (you may have to clip through the critter for it to work) and aim for the body.

Does this work when the node is in the player's inventory? The 3rd person spikes are rather annoying. --[[User:MaddBomber83|MaddBomber83]] ([[User talk:MaddBomber83|talk]]) 19:16, 15 August 2016 (UTC)

From what I've seen, it stays forever. But if you're noticing yours disappearing, remember that other survivors have the option to "destroy tracker" if they get close to your creature. --Mr Pie 5 (talk) 03:56, 3 September 2015 (UTC)

If you're playing on single player and are having trouble placing a transponder node on a critter, try using the ghost command to get closer (you may have to clip through the critter for it to work) and aim for the body. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.192.244.24 (talkcontribs) at 1:45 August 30, 2015(UTC).
