Pachyrhinosaurus Gas/Pheromone/Essence ability[]

Hey playing my solo file on ark well I just learned something. While when you press the c button or for the Raging Essence to make other animals attack the Dimetrodon just ignored me and my Pachyrhio. Also when I used the Raging Essence on a Trilobite and a Coleacanth it made them run away. But the Calming Essence made the Trilobite and Coleacanth stop running.

And even though the the Raging Essence didn't enrage the Triceratops When I attacked the the Calming Essence made them stop attacking. Also the Calming Essence didn't stop the Dimetrodon and the Carbonemys from attacking me after I attacked them. I think that players need to know what creatures you can and can't enrage with the Raging Essence. I also think that players need to know what creatures you can and can't not calm with the Calming Essence. User:JamesEdwardFrank (talk), 2:07 February 7 2019.

I'll see about adding that info tomorrow. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 02:30, 8 February 2019 (UTC)

You replied to me about a message that I left for someone else[]

You replied to me on Flachdachs wall when the message was for that user well I want to tell you some info that I have gathered and am still gathering on the Sabertooth Salmon. The Oncorhynchus is a Pacific Salmon and the only time the Wikipedia page of the Oncorhynchus mentionsthe name Sabertooth Salmon is with a link that takes people to page of the Oncorhynchus rastrosus. The Oncorhynchus rastrosus AKA the Sabertooth Salmon is extinct it lived in the Late Miocene to the Early Pliocene. The Sabertooth Salmon's Dossier mentions the Miocene and Wikipedia says that the Pliocene happens in between the Miocene and the Pleistocene. Also the Sabertooth Salmon's Dossier mentions the Pleistocene which happened after the Pliocene.

So the Oncorhynchus isn't the extinct Oncorhynchus rastrosus. JamesEdwardFrank (talk), 4:49 February 4 2019 (UTC)

Ok, I was kinda speed reading that message but I wanted to help Flachdachs out since he was getting a lot of messages. I didn't know that Oncorhynchus rastrosus was a completely different creature from Oncorhynchus. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 21:59, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
The Oncorhynchus is still alive if I am reading things correctly on Wikipedia while the Oncorhynchus rastrosus is extinct. So like many other creatures in the game the Sabertooth Salmon is based on an extinct animal. Not living one like the Oncorhynchus AKA the Pacific Salmon. Sorry if I probably gonna overboard with the hole thkng. But I would like to say thank you if this mistake gets fixed.
Also it's good that you decided to help Flachdachs. Thanks and I am sorry if I went overboard with the hole thing.JamesEdwardFrank (talk) 5:13 February 4 2019 (UTC)
Sure thing, feel free to message me too. I may not be around at times but I'll notice if someone messages me now. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 23:12, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
Alright sure no problem that's ok. Hey let me know in the future when the link on the Sabertooth Salmon page is corrected to Oncorhynchus rastrosus ok let me know. Until then take care and I wait for message on that whenever someone gets around to it. Also hope that you have better days then what I have been having. JamesEdwardFrank (talk) 6:48, February 4 2019
Oh, I didn't notice that the link hadn't been fixed. It's fixed now. Feel better. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 23:48, 4 February 2019 (UTC)
Thanks also truly sorry if I feel like I was nagging about it. I am nice guy but must of the time comments like the one's that I left led to someone butting heads with me. Thank you for that and thank you for not getting into a fight with me like most people after messages like these. JamesEdwardFrank (talk) 8:08, February 4 2019

I Learned Something New[]

So as I was playing Ark and even though I know Trilobite's can only be tamed using a Fish Basket. I decided to test to see if I could tranq one I put enough tranquilizer arrows in that thing to tranq an Allosaurus and the thing wouldn't get knocked out. The Trilobite was level 36 and earlier I knocked out a Titanoboa level 32 so would be ok if I or it doesn't have to be me to add info mentioning that a Trilobite can't be knocked out with tranquilizers. JamesEdwardFrank, (talk) 7:27 December, 20 2018 (UTC)

I just want to mention and point out something that I just found on here I found Giant Queen Bee listed in untameable creatures category. But the Giant Queen Bee can be tamed so I was wondering if that can be fixed. X-Mutant (talk) 1:33, December 9, 2018 (UTC)

Fixed. If it doesn't show up in the category, it's because of a caching issue. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 20:08, 9 December 2018 (UTC)
Thank you. The reason why I brought that up because I remember when I tamed a Giant Queen Bee I tried to knock out the drone bees then when that failed I tried to tame them by placing the Rare Flower in the last box to try passive tame but that didn't. Then after tamed the Queen Bee then the drones counted as being tamed. So thank for fixing that to let people know that the queen can be tamed. Oh yes speaking queen insects and taming since the drone bees are only tamed when taming the queen bee. Would that work if or when the Titanomyma Queen is added to the game. Because I see the Titanomyma Queen mentioned in Helena Walker's dossier's and notes/Trivia for the Titanomyma page and the Giant Bee page.
Helena Walker said that the Titanomyma can't be tamed because of their hive mind and I believe that. Because I can't tame the drone woker bees but when I tamed the Queen Bee the workers counted as being tamed. The Titanomyma are only untameable because no queen has been found the Titanomyma Queen has mentioned a few times on here and what want to know is has anyone tried to convince Wildcard into finally get around to releasing the Titanomyma Queen. It's been something that they have been leaving fans in the dark about for to long. X-Mutant (talk) 4:13, December 9, 2018 (UTC)

Need help editing Infoboxes[]

Hey I was wondering how can passive tame be added to the Giant Bee Infobox because I don't know how to do that. The Troodon Infobox says live creatures in the preferred food section of the Infobox and when people click on it the words live creature take the user to the Troodon's taming content. Well I was wondering if that can be done with the Otter and Hesperornis. Have their Infoboxes say preferred food dead fish and then when a person clicks on the words dead fish it takes them to the Otter and Hesperornis taming. Let know about those because I think that information would be good for the Infoboxesand make them more complete. X-Mutant (talk) 6:10, November 7 2018 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't see your message. For the creature infoboxes, just let me do those because they are special and can get messed up. For other infoboxes, go to the infobox template page and check what parameters are available, then add those. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:54, 11 November 2018 (UTC)
Thank you oh yes when do you think Passive Tame will be added to the Giant Bee Infobox. Also I know that adult Wyverns, adult Rock Drakes and adult Reapers can not be tamed. The taming page says raise tame does it count as a passive tame or would it be better to have raising listed as taming method in the their Infoboxes. Again thank you for the advice and for helping with the Otter and Hesperornis I just want to know if you can add more useful info to other boxes. X-Mutant (talk) 11:33, November 11, 2018 (UTC)
It has been added. As for the raise tames, we do not add anything there since raising does not count as taming in the game data. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:58, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

Thank you also I was wondering if I could bring up more information about the Otter and Hesperornis I know that it is mentioned that the bigger the fish the faster and better the tame is. Well when I tamed a level five Otter with a big fish it was tamed really quickly. But when I have been trying to tame a level 60 Hephaestus and level 50 and level 25 and level 100 with big fish the taming was taking so long that another creature or my own tames would kill the Hephaestus. So do you think if possible somewhere or sometime in the future you could add Feeding Interval Time for the different levels of Otters and Hesperornis. Because knowing long it takes to tame different creatures with different levels is really handy and helpful. It has been making me so upset that wild animals keep coming along and killing the Hesperornis before I can tame them all because the taming is taking far to long. Sorry I know that this doesn't have anything to do with Infoboxes but I'm getting really angry that I haven't had the luck of taming a Hesperornis. X-Mutant (talk) 9:34, November 11, 2018 (UTC)

Crushing Amber[]

Can you address crushing of the amber when it produces "potent dust" ? I dont know what it's used for — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 09:14, 22 June 2018 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Potent dust is used to level up, there should be an option to “absorb” the dust — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 09:52, 22 June 2018 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Yo, you've removed one of my adds on the torch[]

I see you have fully removed my torch addit. However I can see you find this unlikely. Just try it yourself before claiming its impossible. I've been hatching eggs this way for ages. Especially seeing they last long enough to hatch a wyvern egg. I never really looked at how long a torch could last and if it matters what durability it has. However a torch does go into a standing torch. I can even show you a picture oe video of it working on them. However I don't know if it would be possible in this chat. So yeah, just check it yourself before judging if it's true or false. Because I have been seeing it work for even longer times. I just don't know how much longer it lasts. To play safe I posted 3 Ingame days. Because somewhere else in the wiki it falsely states 4 minutes. However if I maneged to hatch wyvern eggs with one in them, how does a 4 minute last on an offal server wyvern egg?

I believe you were thinking of the Standing Torch, because an item cannot be its own fuel source. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 20:49, 1 July 2018 (UTC)
Hey I understood their note. I narrowed the information regarding using the handheld Torch as fuel for the Standing Torch. And with this being an old comment I think the issue is resolved and this whole comment section can be removed if you want to clean-up some insignificant issues on the page.Terronscibe (talk) 02:21, 16 December 2018 (UTC)

Undoing revisions on Taming Bonus[]

Hi there,

Noticed you removed taming bonus statistics on numerous pages even though they are still being used, why is that?--— Preceding unsigned comment added by Maedean (talkcontribs) at 16:36, 16 July 2018 (UTC). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Sorry about that as well as the delayed reply, but I don't seem to remember why I did that. --The Wayward Wolf (talk) 15:16, 2 August 2018 (UTC)
Now I remember. I deleted those statistics because those creatures aren't tameable, they are raisable though and therefore do not receive bonus stats. If this isn't the case then I'll leave it.--The Wayward Wolf (talk) 19:54, 4 August 2018 (UTC)

Tek cave ( inventory ascession )[]

Hi Wolf! There are some contrast in the note. plz fix it :) thx

1 When you ascend, all the tames you brought in the caves will teleport to the entrance of the Cave (Make sure you take out anything valuable before ascending because anything left inside their inventories will be lost).

2 You will want to store ALL your player items in a dino so you will not lose them on Ascension. All the items you place into a dino's inventory before Ascension will guarantee no items lost. Ideal for players using Tek gear and do not want to craft them again after Ascension. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 14:13, 25 September 2018. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Ok, I removed the part saying that the tame's inventory would be deleted. As far as I know, this is not the case --The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:01, 25 September 2018 (UTC)

Unicorn rarity[]

You mention in the dossier for the unicorn that the rule that theres only one unicorn per server (wild or tamed) is not longer the case. Could you please provide me a link where u found that information or explain it. Me and my tribe we are not sure what to believe since we never find a wild one on official and it would be nice to know for sure whats the case now. Thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Anmei222 (talkcontribs) at 09:30, 29 September 2018. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

What I know about Unicorns is that on official, once a Unicorn has been tamed, another one will spawn. Only one can be tamed per tribe though. This can be changed on unofficial/singleplayer. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 11:30, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
But could u provide a link please? The latest information i have was the tweet from Jen where she confirmed that there can only be one, wild or tamed, and another one will only spawn if the tamed one is transfered or killed. And I didnt find any information where it says they changed that rule and i'm realy curious about it. So if you could tell me where u found it i'd highly appreciate it. (Sry to bother u with unicorns so much xD)— Preceding unsigned comment added by Anmei222 (talkcontribs) at 13:22, 29 September 2018. Please sign your posts with ~~~~
I don't have a link but does she specify official servers? The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:48, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
She didnt and I cant find any information that it got changed. I know on unofficial you can increase the rate, I even saw a post where somebody said the file would be broken on private. But i'm pretty sure its not the case on official and I never saw a wild unicorn thats why I think what Jen said is still the rule.
I cant provide you the link here but enter "Ark unicorn spawn rule" in google and you will find her tweet in the survivetheark forums, somebody posted it Anmei222 (talk) 14:54, 29 September 2018 (UTC)
I honestly don't know, I've seen the tweet. If no changes have been mentioned, then I guess there can only be one per official server. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 15:00, 29 September 2018 (UTC)

extinction info[]

There is no "king kaiju titan" or whatever confirmed to be coming to Extinction. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:05, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
Ok, I looked at the source and it is in no way reliable. If that was coming to Extinction, it would have been found in survivetheark or by a source tweeted out from the devs. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:09, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
Kaiju is just another name for Titan because it is in Japanese. The main Kaiju they speak about is the boss, not another titan. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:11, 21 October 2018 (UTC)

Would it be worth adding the level at which a pursuit becomes available? While this might be a pain to collect, but I think it would be useful. I have been working toward the hunt:argentus, wondering what level was required, 71 by the way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 04:56, 28 October 2018. Of course, if I had known there was a required level I would have inserted it on the template. I'll add it right now. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:22, 28 October 2018 (UTC)

(Mek) appearence[]

How do I edit appearence images? I can’t seem to find the place to edit those things. For example the Mek page says region 4 is not used. In the discussion page I already told that I found it, and where it is placed. So, how do I edit those formats? Disguised Koala (talk) 10:13, 19 November 2018 (UTC) Disguised Koala (talk) 10:13, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

The images are changed by uploading to File:Creature PaintRegion0.jpg. As for the Mek page saying region 4 isn't used, someone else is verifying it in-game. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 11:58, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Looking for direction[]

My edits so far have been based on things I personally noticed missing and wanted to fill out, but I’m looking to contribute more in the way of mobile testing and content. Is there a roadmap or place where we have things that need doing? How do you go about selecting a stub to focus on? Realizing I get the most enjoyment out of the game by helping people here and in game and want to get more involved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thekiltedbean (talkcontribs) at 05:13, 26 November 2018. What you are doing right now is good enough. If you know of any missing Mobile content, please let me know because then I can add it. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:12, 26 November 2018 (UTC)

No it's not the same for every creature, the Manticore Boss Dermis doesn't work on the Taxidermy Base! Terronscibe (talk) 16:37, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Then note it in the pages of the creatures which don't work. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 16:39, 2 December 2018 (UTC)
Bosses are significant. Fine. Okay, if it doesn't work I'll make a note of it.Terronscibe (talk) 16:46, 2 December 2018 (UTC)

Leave my test page alone![]

I know you're the Master Admin. But please keep your mits off my Test Page. Terronscibe (talk) 21:00, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

First off, I'm not an admin. Second off, I'm removing things that add categories. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 21:05, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Is that so? Fine. I hope you will let me continue my experiment on my test page. I want to eliminate individual pages made from individual pieces of a set. And combine them into (1) page. There's no need for a page just for boots~. Terronscibe (talk) 21:19, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
No problem, just be aware of the categories because when you add certain things, the test page can end up categories such as Scorched Earth. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 21:33, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
I see. I'll make a note to avoid making the same mistake twice. Thank-you.Terronscibe (talk) 21:42, 11 December 2018 (UTC)

Ragnarok Map Update[]

Is it possible you or one of the other editors could update the Ragnarok resource map? It's very outdated, For example, it shows cactus don't spawn in the SW 1 area when I know they do. I believe oil and crystal spawns are not accurate either. I would update this my self but I do not know how. Modern gamer327 (talk) 22:35, 13 December 2018 (UTC)

Parasaur Egg Kibble on Mobile[]

Hey, Just wondering why you've removed my add on the parasaur egg kibble page regarding substituting 1 longrass with 2x rockarrot on the mobile game? I've checked and double checked that it requires 2x rockarrot to make a single parasaur egg kibble. Just trying to save other mobile users the same frustration I faced when thinking something was wrong and I wasn't able to make the kibble. B major 7 (talk) 13:40, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

I didn't remove, just put the info into the infobox. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 16:13, 25 December 2018 (UTC)

New template idea[]

Have you ever considered the addition of an "Orphaned" template? I have a design already in mind, although I'm open to any potential changes...

Human.png Orphaned!
This page has been needing content for quite some time now and it could soon be a candidate for deletion if information continues to be absent

... I'm not sure if this is necessary, but it would probably help with marking pages for deletion, it would also allow people to separate stubs with content from pages without content, as they normally share the stub tag. Personally I think this might act as a step before an article gets marked for deletion... 18:34, 24 January 2019 (UTC)

Ok, I'll add that. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 19:16, 25 January 2019 (UTC)
After seeing the template on a few pages, I think it may need to be reworded, what about...
This page is Orphaned
This means that there has been a notable lack of edits recently, and it could soon become a candidate for deletion if its' contributor(s) continue to ignore it
You think it still retains its original purpose like that? 16:07, 19 February 2019 (UTC)
I think it's fine right now. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 16:20, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Kept getting flagged for Vandalism when I tried to add this on Flachdachs talk page.[]

I have the Page mostly decently set up now. I tried to put stuff in Tabbers but realized that it messes with links to the page so I decided not to. so now all it pretty much needs is some text for a few sections, some grammer checks for the sections that we Merged and maybe a few info updates for those also. 18:07, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Ok cool. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 18:08, 5 February 2019 (UTC)

Cycle through 'wideimage' parameter in infobox[]

How does one go about setting this up? I've tried things that normally work for normal images, but none of them work; they never switch from the first image on the list

Test 1
Ruins of Nosti - Entrance (Scorched Earth) (B).jpgRuins of Nosti - Entrance (Scorched Earth).jpgRuins of Nosti - Entrance (Scorched Earth) (C).jpg

Am I doing something wrong or does it not work for wideimage? 12:29, 7 February 2019 (UTC)

No, I have to alter the template so it will work. I'll do it now. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:32, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
It looks like it should work, you can look at my main account's test page for an infobox featuring all the images, up to you if we go through with the idea. 12:50, 7 February 2019 (UTC)
Looks good to me! Go ahead with it. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:01, 7 February 2019 (UTC)

I noticed something on the Biomes page[]

I noticed on all of the Scorched Earth biomes that when I put Desert Cloth in the clothing section that none of them linked to the desert cloth page or had the desert cloth shirt picture. 19:10, 11 February 2019 (UTC)

Quick question.[]

Hi its me again sorry if i'm getting annoying by constantly asking you stuff. But do you know if their is a way to make the maps on the Caves page more accurate without having to majorly change the template the maps are using or replacing them with a different template? If not should they be replaced? 17:50, 13 February 2019 (UTC)

It's fine to ask me questions. As for your question, what exactly do you mean by more accurate? The Wayward Wolf (talk) 22:35, 13 February 2019 (UTC)
The maps on the Cave page not only have humongous dots that cover up the map but not only that some of them aren't placed very accurately on the map for where the cave actually is (A good example is The Center map on the Caves Page as everything is further left than its supposed to be). I think this is mostly because the maps don't use the in-game map coordinates and instead uses a line of code like this that doesn't really display very well for using a map. 14:33, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, coordinate system is a bit off, but I'll see about the dot size later. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 15:42, 14 February 2019 (UTC)

Diana explorer note crate?[]

Is there an image lying around for this? I need it for Mek Crafting Table. To be specific, I'm looking for the ground item you must walk over to get the note, not the note itself. 12:26, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

I think it can be found in the DevKit, I'll see if someone can dig it up. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:29, 19 February 2019 (UTC)

Image redirects for 'Better MEKS!'[]

Since the only custom image is used by the Mek Crafting Table, could you apply the default images for the rest in the navbox? The others use vanilla icons, so all you need to do is do some redirect magic. 14:04, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

You can actually do that yourself by creating each page and inserting
#REDIRECT
Forgot to add file: to the namespace, could you move the page? 14:19, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
Only actual files can be moved to the file namespace, so it had to be deleted. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 14:26, 21 February 2019 (UTC)
I did it correctly but... it still asked me to sign in to upload files. Ugh, being able to sign in would fix so many problems I've had with this guest account. 14:30, 21 February 2019 (UTC)

Mod:Enhanced Mek...[]

I'm not sure how I would go about making this, would I port the majority of the information from the already existing Mek? How could I make sure to avoid it appearing in certain categories? I might be overthinking it and probably just answered my own question(s), but if there's a easier way, could you let me know? 12:43, 22 February 2019 (UTC)

Use the creature infobox, and as long as there is a ModNote template at the top of the page, it shouldn't categorize. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:50, 22 February 2019 (UTC)

Unnecessary Changes[]

About the Raft, I understand the removal of the Pictures in the section headers (killjoy), but the rest was unnecessary. But it also brings up the matter that I dislike the current Button Template. There's nothing wrong with including the button specifics. Terronscibe (talk) 12:47, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

I only changed things that shouldn't be used in a certain way. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:24, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
And how did I wrongly use the button template and the Cheat Command? I used the same style in Getting Started and you said it looked good. It makes it look more simple and organized for a GameGuide. The reader can Visually find the info they are looking for in a neat standout way.Terronscibe (talk) 23:13, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
You had it so that there were some | characters showing, which shouldn't be showing, and you were using indented text for commands, when commands should be displayed using the Console template. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 23:36, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
Yes | makes a nice divider. And all the console console template is a script shortcut of its wording. I'm going to undo your changes for a quick comparison. I have a copy of your changes to revert it back to yours.Terronscibe (talk) 01:45, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
I know it's not a visual glitch on my phone.
What's wrong with placing deemed important information in a box?
Terronscibe (talk) 01:54, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
It's intended for other purposes. As for the |, it's not meant to be on pages. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 02:16, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
I've asked Mr.Pie5 to review both our edits please refrain from making any changes to Wooden Raft.Terronscibe (talk) 02:22, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
I don't want to get into an argument about page styles, but since I am an admin now, I have a say in wiki formatting and that is not how we format pages. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 02:51, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
It's like saying that you should use the Console template for some random line of text because you can copy-and-paste the contents or bold entire sections so people notice them more easily. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 02:55, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
There is no need to undo an edit to see how it looked. In the history of a page you can select every version when following the link on the date and time of this version. You can also refer to a specific version using this date/time link.
An blank at the beginning of one ore more lines is for blocks of code. On single (and quite short) command doesn't justify the usage of a code block. Use an inline something, it also has the benefit of a copy to clipboard button. example
Using a | is not in general a bad idea and also not forbidden or so. But the way you used it was a visual mess. It wasn't clear what belongs together and what not.
--Flachdachs (talk) 08:29, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
How was the divider | a visual mess? It was clearly holding the Button groups. And as for comparison. The options I have only compares script edits, but hold no visuals. How about you look at Getting Started I did the same thing there.Terronscibe (talk) 13:30, 24 February 2019 (UTC)
You were told by two admins that this is not the way it should be done. Just accept that what you were doing is bad formatting. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 14:29, 24 February 2019 (UTC)

Namespace change request[]

It's ok to change the namespace for File: Mod Mek Crafting Table.png; the mod creator made a image for it which i'll add later when i'm able to, maybe you could rename it to File: Diana ground note.png or something? 12:26, 26 February 2019 (UTC)

Argies and Kibble[]

We (as in the wiki contributors) need to figure out this issue, there's contradicting info everywhere and its just a big mess. I'll leave you with the pages that you can fix it with, maybe you could put an end to this confusion? 15:14, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

It comes directly from the game data. Still have to fix up the actual Kibble page. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 15:26, 7 March 2019 (UTC)
Ah, so that's what it was. 15:29, 7 March 2019 (UTC)

Enhanced Mek Attacks[]

How would I add the attacks like the sword slash and such? Is that coding buried in the statbox template, and if so, where? It's really the only major thing left... 12:35, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

That stuff is stored in a database, I may add the ability to manually input attacks in the future. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:14, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

Kibbles and boxes[]

Did you know the spider had a kibble? I didn't until recently, and get this: the kibble doesn't have a colored outline ingame. It's just something I noticed...
Also, what do you think about the ambox I made on the Gacha Gavager page? I figured a stub wouldn't justify what needed to be done on that page, so I made a box detailing the specifics instead; you think it was the right call? 12:01, 11 March 2019 (UTC)

Both Araneo and Lymantria had kibbles bot no creatures that prefered it. Now these two are the only kibbles that are not categorized and they can't be used as a replacement for any of the new kibble. --Flachdachs (talk) 12:11, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
The Gacha Gavager page looks good. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:18, 11 March 2019 (UTC)

Hey I'm prepping for a Garden page format. I want to display the gallery in a certain way (3x3) per column - per row. Could you look at my test page and give me some pointers? (You may make changes to the page) *By the way, I will not be using the example images.Terronscibe (talk) 03:09, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

I don't know if there's a way to do 3 per column, but you can add perrow="3" into the <gallery> tag for 3 per row. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 11:36, 17 March 2019 (UTC)
As close as far as I got is the first part of the section: User:Terronscibe/Terron's test page#Script Tests, however it doesn't give room for descriptions. Terronscibe (talk) 04:00, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
Not sure about that. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 11:19, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
I'll use what I can for the moment. Maybe as a suggestion, we could have a Plant Template similar to the dye chart, I guess. Terronscibe (talk) 14:00, 18 March 2019 (UTC)

Hello there, we are sorry to hear of your troubles. Unfortunately, since none of the editors here are developers, we can neither help with issues directly related to the game nor influence any facet of its development any more than you can. Instead, you should try posting on the Official Forums, the Steam forums, or use the support-page for help in-game or suggestions related to future development. Regardless, we hope you succeed in your endeavors. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 21:02, 17 March 2019 (UTC)

Setting up a bot[]

How would I setup a bot to help me out on my wiki endeavors? Specifically trying to make it automatically mark pages as stubs and auto-add templates wherever needed... The repetition is starting to get to me... 17:55, 18 March 2019 (UTC)

Read this article: While you can make a bot, it'd be better to just ask me or another admin take care of repetitive tasks with our own bots. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 19:52, 18 March 2019 (UTC)
While I could do that, I don't want to make you guys edit your bots to work with the 11:23, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Oh ok, then you should set up a bot, just refer to that article and ask here if you have any questions. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 11:29, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Going to be honest: I forgot about this conversation. Regardless, would I have to make a new twitch account to make a bot account? Scrubbanubnub (talk) 18:10, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Yes, but if you use Gmail, you can sign up using which will send all emails to (don't actually use email, use your email). The Wayward Wolf (talk) 19:48, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Template help[]

How could I make a template with differentiating text depending on the category the page is in? For example, say the page was in the Cabin category, it would then have information for said category; if it was under the weapon category, it would have information for that, and so on.

Is there a template already like this on the wiki, and if so, what is it? 13:53, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

I don't think we have anything like that. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 14:30, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
For all I know, maybe categories was a bit ambitious, would a parameter work?
Example: There would be three keywords,(Alpha, Beta, and Charlie), and it would go like:
| Upgrade|Alpha (Information listed under the alpha keyword would then be inserted)
| Upgrade|Beta (Information listed under the Beta keyword would then be inserted)
| Upgrade|Charlie (Information listed under the Charlie keyword would then be inserted)

Basically, I'm trying to have a swappable parameter that changes the info depending on what comes after | in . Once I figure that out, the rest should be a breeze... 16:21, 25 March 2019 (UTC)
You can use a #switch parser function, look that up for more info. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:35, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

Ambox template[]

Could you port over the ambox template to the Crossout Wiki? That place could use more templates, and ambox will clean up a few of the current ones. I'd do it myself but I'm not sure how... EDIT: Color requests for it are: Orange, White, Grey, Blue, Purple, and Yellow; would prefer the colors to be ripped from the preexisting ones on the (Crossout) wiki. 14:48, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

You'd have to get your wiki manager to help with that, but you can port over the template by using the page Special:Export on this wiki, and Special Import on that wiki. But you have to ask your wiki manager to add the necessary CSS. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 15:15, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

Proper formatting[]

I'm currently making a lore page on the Crossout wiki, but I've run into a design problem; What is the correct formatting for sections containing sections of content? Currently, I have it as:

Scar AB's Artifact Collection== ===Folder With Documents=== (Content) ====Newspaper “The Moon”==== =====(Content for newspaper)===
This doesn't look right to me, and I was wondering if perhaps there was a better way of doing it. Any suggestions? 15:43, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Maybe put some headers on the same level, instead of level 3, 4, 5, do it as level 3, 3, 3. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 16:28, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
So I found something I liked based off of what you said, but now I'm trying to move some of the headings over with :: but it breaks the formatting; is there a way to get around that or is it a limitation? 17:57, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
Nevermind, I found a compromise that looks better anyway, hooray for collapsible tables! 18:10, 3 April 2019 (UTC)
How do the tables work? I've been trying to get an image first followed by a Title and then information but all I end up doing is pushing the information over far too much, there's an example of what I want to do hidden in a comment below this.
How would I go about this? Currently, I have it as Label->Data->Image and it works ok for now, though I would prefer the image to be close to the label... 13:18, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Read gphelp:Advanced tables. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:22, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
While I did learn some things I didn't know before, It wasn't able to help me format the table, does the Crossout wiki not have the style formatting or is {|class="mw-collapsible mw-collapsed" not compatible with |style? 13:39, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
Not really sure what you are trying to achieve

Nav Unoffical Mods[]

I'm curious to why you made Better MEKS first on the list, if the list is alphabetical, shouldn't ARK Additions be first instead? I'd change it myself but I thought you might of had a reason for making that decision.

I also have a second question, though it's off topic; how do you add images next to text in a way that the text does not go below the image even when it goes down a line? I've been trying for a bit and nothing's worked so far. This situation is not in a table. 13:07, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Oops, that was an ignorant mistake by me. For the second question, try text. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:19, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
That's actually what I was trying on the other wiki, currently I have:
Folder with Documents
Missing.pngThis folder bearing the Starburnts logo was discovered behind a panel during the disassembly of an unremarkable old truck that was abandoned by the s...
Notice how it pushes the text down. What I'm trying to do is have both of the non-bold lines go beside the image, is this a formatting limitation or am I just not thinking outside the box? 13:26, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
The bolded text in the example is intended to simulate a heading above the image, but to prevent unnecessary headings on a talk page, I just used similar formatting. 14:11, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
If you want a better example, I'm basing it off of how it's set up here. 14:24, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
There's probably a way to do it with CSS, but you should ask your Wiki Manager about that. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 14:28, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Conveniently, right after I read that, I got a response from him and he had exactly what I was looking for! Thanks for the help though, I guess sometimes redundancy is the way to go... and tables, lots of tables....

Templates and their external usage[]

Is it ok for me to be ripping templates from the ark wiki for usage on the crossout wiki? I've done it for a number of templates now and I just want to make sure that this is actually allowed... 17:00, 8 April 2019 (UTC)

Yes, but use Special:Export here and Special:Import there. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:30, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
So far, the only one I've imported (or in this case, tried to) was the ambox template. The ones I've manually brought over via copy-and-paste are: Outdent, Abandoned, Outdated, and Wip. Those are still ok despite me doing it that way... Right? 17:44, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
Yeah, but import preserves history so make sure to do it that way from now on. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:49, 8 April 2019 (UTC)

Updated Prim+ Preferred Food list[]

Good morning, I was wondering how you came up with the Prim+ Preferred food listings. Whilst attempting to tame several Dinos I used several of the "Preferred" items only to have them either be completely ignored or or had another item render better/faster/more effective results. If it was once a snap shot of info could it be updated? I understand you are incredibly busy and want everyone to have the most accurate information available. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 11:16, May 6, 2019. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I'm not really sure, as I wasn't around for that. Chances are it was from testing or data. However, I will be updating the preferred foods soon as I recently noticed many were wrong. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 19:52, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

Divider template[]

Is there a template that adds a dividing line across the screen? If we don't have one, how could I set one up using the underline that the major headers use? 15:25, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

---- will create a divider. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 18:51, 8 May 2019 (UTC)

Page move request[]

Could you move the redirect on Special Plants to Special plants? I'd do it myself but guest accounts don't have the perms, and to be honest, I'll probably just forget to do it when I get home. 12:52, 10 May 2019 (UTC)

Formatting question[]

Is there a way to apply mouseover text to non-infobox text? An example of what I'm looking for can be found on Wyvern, where if you hover over tamable, it says that untamable creatures can still be force tamed. 17:58, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

There is, but it's only meant for infoboxes. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 20:00, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

Is there a page that already consists of ways to farm eggs? I'm going through with the idea of splitting Crop and Egg farming to different pages; I just wanted to make sure I wasn't making a duplicate page. 16:15, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Don't think so, but you can check Dinosaur Egg. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 20:15, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Procedural ark- still a thing on xbox?[]

Hello! Figured I'd go to the experts for this question. I'm playing ARK on xbox one, but can't run the creation of procedurals- has this function ceased since its latest updated version? (As of June 2019) Basically, I throw in my values, hit the button to create it, and I just drop back to the main menu. It seems like an awesome function, and I'd really love some new maps to play on!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 13:12, June 3, 2019. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Not sure as I don't play Xbox. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 20:44, 3 June 2019 (UTC)

Need help setting up a wiki page for my map: The Chasm[]

Hey! I would need a little bit of help especially with Cargo Tables/creating a table for my creature variants that I introduce with my rather new map The Chasm which I currently create a wiki page for. I don't have the permission to do anything cargo related and to be quite honest am not 100% sure whether everything I'm doing is correct. I tried to contact you via Discord as this might be easier to communicate through but I couldn't find the name that is linked on your profile.

Thanks a lot already! Trappel22 — Preceding unsigned comment added by ‎ (talk • contribs) at Trappel22. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Hi, let me point you to our Discord server, linked in the sidebar. It will be easier to communicate there and I will help you set this up. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 20:46, 5 June 2019 (UTC)

Source for the Vaugero dates[]

I noticed you changing the release dates for Vaugero to come out on Xbox and PS4. Where are you getting those dates from? Most of the gaming media like IGN are saying Pc June 18 and Xbox and PS4 July 4. But the wiki dates say June 18th across the board

I don't see why the dates would be different for Xbox and PS4 and I don't trust information if Wildcard hasn't released it themselves, until we get more info later tonight, it would be best to leave them all as June 18th. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 20:35, 17 June 2019 (UTC)

You removed my homo deus skin note.[]

I didn’t know how to contact/message on the wiki as this is my first ever adjustment to the wiki because it’s something that has been irritating me while playing official, I've been on ark since the beginning. Every time I die I have to drop skins and collect up only those and then re apply then to my armor, every time we die. I don’t know if it’s a feature or a bug and I know this isn’t the only skin to act in this way but I felt like it was pertinent information to leave in an empty notes section for the skin, can you tell me why it is you removed my post? — Preceding unsigned comment added by MstrNolf (talkcontribs) at 16:22, July 6, 2019. Console Commands - Issue with Valguero's Northern Lights command[]

Hello, first of all, thank you for your work on wiki, it's quite appreciated. There's a command listed under Console Commands that can lead to disastrous consequences.

 SpawnRainbow, TestNorthernLights

The TestNorthernLights command (cheat ce TestNorthernLights) can get rid of the aurora borealis on Valguero permanently. I run a large cluster and we ran this command in the first week of the map's launch and ever since the auroras have vanished. The moment we ran the command and had auroras spawn was the last time we saw them. We have a server of over 40 active people who have confirmed they're gone for good. I've reach out to the Valguero devs and Wildcard on the issue but they don't seem to bothered. Figured I'd relay this to you so no one else has to suffer the same fate. Cheers! — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 22:38, July 17, 2019. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Ok, I will add this information to the Console Commands page. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:43, 18 July 2019 (UTC)

Windows 10 Store Updates[]

Windows 10 updates post on or around the same time Xbox release. Can we add Windows 10 versions to the updates page? Example Xbox/Windows 10 version.

Recent example where this would be helpful, Xbox has 790.9 vs Win 10 has 790.8 at the moment. Camisake (talk) 04:26, 9 August 2019 (UTC)

Oops, I must've missed the first message you sent but sure, I will add this. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 18:09, 11 August 2019 (UTC)

Thanks! It would be nice to note the separate versions for Xbox and Windows 10 at the moment and/or in the future. Currently Xbox has 790.8 vs 790.9 for Win 10 as mentioned. Evidently the server save issue is resolved for Xbox but not for Win 10. Certainly would make it easier to find this info here rather than reddit or forums. I haven't been able to find update release info on Win 10 or even Xbox so maybe you have a good connection there. Camisake (talk) 04:36, 14 August 2019 (UTC)

Valguero Loot Crate Levels[]

Me and another user have attempted to make an edit to the loot beacon levels on Valguero that you have reversed so let me try to clarify/explain the issue. The beacons on Valguero are unique and some crates use TheIsland level system, while others use the Scorched Earth level system. It is like instead of creating new beacons that mix the 2 maps drops, they set the preexisting beacons from both maps to spawn randomly. I have no idea why it was done this way but I would be happy to get you screenshots of this if you insist that they are all the same level... Ayukyoru (talk) 23:44, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

Spawn Maps[]

Hi, I noticed that you were the last person to edit the extinction and center spawn map pages, and I was wondering if you could do the Valguero one, or point me to who may have, or point me to how I could! THanks!

Could you check the glowtail egg section in the infobox? Those numbers seem far too specific to me... 17:05, 21 October 2019 (UTC)

If you're talking about incubation and maturation times, they're from the game files and are correct. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:07, 21 October 2019 (UTC)
Yeah it was those; no idea why they are so specific compared to many of the other creatures though. 17:10, 21 October 2019 (UTC)

Creature Navbox[]

For some reason the King Titan is spread out among the table as if it is a normal creature, shouldn't it be at the bottom with the other bosses? 13:08, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

No, it is alphabetized now. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 14:20, 23 October 2019 (UTC)

Navbox parameter "child"[]

Needed how, exactly?! this is what the table looks like with it, and this is how it looks like without it... -- 23:56, 31 October 2019 (UTC)

What browser and extensions are you using, because it doesn't look like that for me. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 00:58, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
IE11, no extensions. What does it look like for you, with and without that parameter? -- 14:04, 1 November 2019 (UTC)
I don't recommend using IE11 as it's pretty outdated and is most likely the source of your problem. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:15, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

Corrupted Avatar skins in Primitive Plus[]

I've unlocked the currently available corrupted avatar skins for the Genesis DLC on Vanilla but my skins do not appear while playing Primitive Plus. My HLNA skin is with me, but none of my newly unlocked skins. I've died to have them respawn to no avail. I'm curious if the new corrupt avatar skins are exclusively for use in Vanilla servers? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 10:26, November 9, 2019. edit Mod:Steampunk Refined Oil[]

Thank you for the edit. I was actually trying to figure out how to change the wiki page name when all of a sudden I got the edit notice and was like "WHAT???" (Scratches head). I'm new to all this, today is actually the first time I have done any of this wiki edit stuff. Still trying to figure it all out. But as there is almost no information on the steampunk mod I figured I would try to help others as I had to figure everything out for myself with no idea were to start and what did what. Frog Feet[]

I just wanted to address an issue I found related to frog feet when I searched it up in the Ark Wiki, it says that frog feet can only be bought and cannot be crafted or obtained from dungeons which is false. I have actually obtained frog fret from a premium chest inside the dungeon, just wanted to put a heads up! — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 14:14, December 15, 2019. *.ogg sound files of HLN-A[]

Hey! I have a question - how did you convert the sound-files of HLN-A to *.ogg-files? Have found only *.uasset files in the ARK-Folders, but i can't convert it without installing the unreal engine. Is there a tool or trick maybe? I need to know this, because I'am creating the german HLN-A Explorer Notes and saw/listen that at least the Explorer Notes Sounds were translated ingame.

Other Question: Do you know the defference between Cue and non-cue? For example: s_hlna_expnote_prelaunch_01_de.uasset and s_hlna_expnote_prelaunch_01_de_Cue.uasset

Found it here (windows): .....\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\PrimalEarth\ExplorerNotes\HLNA\Audio\Prelaunch\German\

Can you help me please? And sorry if my english is not the best.

If possible, you should message Alexrmski on Discord about this. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 18:46, 15 February 2020 (UTC)

Giveitemnum codes[]

It would seem that all the numbers associated with each item have changed like Metal Ramp number is now " 174 " instead of the old number " 177 "

Excuse me Wolf that I answer this: Yup, it appears that some items were removed from the main list, and this caused some items to shift. This is something that is yet to be updated. Alexrmski (talk) 16:23, 27 February 2020 (UTC)

I see you removed the Hexagon page because a Hexagon is not an item. I agree it is not an item or resource in the traditional sense (can be in your inventary) but you can still collect and use them. I also know that not all pages on the wiki are for items (eg Just_a_Hop,_Skip,_and_a_Jump_Away). My understanding of the wiki was it is a place to find information about the game. I often come to the wiki and simply type in the search box for things I need more information on. Having typed 'Hexagon' I got no page but only pages containing the word. There is of course a small description of Hexagons in the main Genesis Part 1 page, but this description is a little lost on such a huge page. The other pages that do mention Hexagons do not describe them in any manner a player or wiki user might find descriptive. There is also ambiguity on the search word since it is also a patterning region (Tek Turret and Tek Teleporter) and prisms (Overseer). My intention was not to create a Spam article but to start a page for describing the new Hexagon mechanism and to then find a link (hopefully) to the Hexagon Exchange page describing how to access that and use it. I thought that would be usefull for people wanting to use the wiki to learn about this. Could I suggest that you create a redirect of Hexagon to the description on the Genesis Part 1 main page for others to more easily 'find' the only description. Thanks vy700 (talk) 15:25, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

We do not plan on having a page dedicated to Hexagons but rather spreading the information out over several pages. Feel free to create that redirect though. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 14:56, 9 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks - I'll try add in to the current structure vy700 (talk) 09:32, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

Genesis Resource Map[]

So I was trying to make an addition to the resource legend on the Genesis resource map for element shards, but after making the addition I noticed that there was no pie indicator populating. Wanted to reach out to you to try and get an understanding of how it works. Is there something embedded that I'm not aware of or is it pulling that image from an external link on the template by chance? Just curious as I was hoping to make some simple additions as I found them while playing and wanted to start contributing when and where I could. Also I hate not being able to figure something out like this haha. GUI0188 (talk) 22:38, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

Should work now. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 22:46, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
So you removed the lines with the marker statements and the plural statement on "shards", was there already a marker embedded for that somewhere? GUI0188 (talk) 23:04, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
No, I just defined those and then realized that they were wrong so I went with the easier way. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 23:38, 10 March 2020 (UTC)

Edit reverted[]

Why was my correction of 'gnashed' on the status effects page reverted? And then you made the same edit? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rawveggie20740 (talkcontribs) at 13:30, March 19, 2020. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

The status effect is called Gashed, not Gnashed. I accidentally reverted it while I was making other edits. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 17:44, 19 March 2020 (UTC)

Widget:MapStyles .. add Citronal[]

Could you please add Citronal to Widget:MapStyles? I am not at all an expert with the game but it apparently is a standard map resource, not a modded item. The wiki says BE BOLD, but I do not have widget edit permission. -- Plawerth (talk) 06:06, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

Citronal isn't a standard map resource, the only way to get it is to harvest seeds from bushes (which are everywhere) so adding it would be unnecessary. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 13:15, 27 April 2020 (UTC)

Map creature spawn areas[]

When looking through map creature spawn areas why is there two percentages?

Example: valguero, chalk golem spawns in the chalk hills and under the name there are two percentage numbers laid out like so,

My question is what do these numbers mean and why two percentages for one dino spawn? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 19:54, April 27, 2020. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

The interactive spawn map presents spawning group data to the left of the map. The percentages you are asking about are a part of this data:
 • 63% is the chance of the group getting picked
 • 100% is the chance of a Chalk Golem getting picked from the group (if it gets picked in the first place)

If you look at, say, Alpha Megalodon, there are two groups - one is in Ocean, second is in DeepOcean. Ocean group has 15% to be selected, and 97% chance to spawn a Megalodon (14.5% overall), and separate 3% chance to spawn an Alpha Megalodon (0.5%). Group in DeepOcean has 11% chance, and 97% chance to spawn a Megalodon (10.6%), or 3% to spawn an Alpha Megalodon (0.03%). (Also that's not a very good example due to the way the map was built, but if I go into details this will become too long.)

Clay in my inventory is not showing as usable[]

Hello, I'm playing Ark with the Gaia, AA and SS mods. I have found a problem when I building adobe structures and using clay. I can have several hundred clay in stacks in my inventory and my blueprint only asks for 40 but the blueprint say I have no clay even when I do. How do I fix this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 11:45, June 26th 2020. Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Alexrmski (talk) 12:57, 26 June 2020 (UTC)

The Ember Crystal Wyvern does not have an icon in the template Nav:creatures. I don´t know how to fix it but maybe you can do this. Schneckenfan1 (talk) 10:14, 28 June 2020 (UTC)

Not entirely sure what the issue is but I suspect it has to do with caching. In this situation, the best thing we can do is wait. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 01:52, 29 June 2020 (UTC)

Jungle North Beach[]

Hi, Saw you were editing what I was working on in this particular section. Started a single player account there last week, and found that very little of the info in the presumably older North Jungle (the center) section was accurate, and that the newer page was completely empty. Figured I’d make the attempt to create a more accurate page but admittedly am probably not the most qualified person to do it so any assistance would be welcome! Just figured I’d call attention to that. In addition, does anyone monitor the suggestion page on here or is there a better way to do that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talkcontribs) at 12:41, August 4, 2020. Hey, I'll be sure to clean up your edits if needed. Additionally, you can check the Help Wiki for help with editing. In regards to the suggestion page, I wouldn't pay much attention to that as those suggestions are very unlikely to reach the devs. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 12:59, 5 August 2020 (UTC)

Request for help on use of Template:ResourceMap[]

Tried adding you on discord but says you don't accept friend requests and you would have to add me. Would like to request to be added there as it's easier to communicate. My Discord ID is: Pinkamena Diane Pie#6559

I am working on a gamepedia wiki for another game and am new to wiki editing. I want to add a resource map to that wiki but can't figure out how to use the template and don't want to go adding a bunch of pages that might not work since i can't delete them after. Would you mind adding me on discord and helping me figure this out? I ask because i saw you used the template to add a resource map here. I have tried contacting other gamepedia wiki editors who have used the same or similar interactive map templates but they either have no contact info or don't have public messaging available and refuse friend requests.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Edit: Nevermind. Another user i contacted responded and is going to assist. Sorry for bothering :3

ARK: Fear Evolved 4 information[]

I've updated the page couple times now, because the event didn't go live yesterday due to a delay. However, it will go live today. No idea, why it won't be set. Is an administrator only allowed to update the starting time from October the 23rd until the end, November 6th? The information for this is visible on on top against a white banner. The event will be active today on PC and PS4, next week on Monday 26th on Xbox One. HallowedReaper94 (talk) 16:26, 23 October 2020 (UTC)

The rates went live yesterday, which is considered to be the start of the event even if the entire event isn't yet available. The Wayward Wolf (talk) 16:28, 23 October 2020 (UTC)
